Candida Cleanse - How to Beat Candidiasis

in Yeast

Are you sick and tired of feeling sick and tired? The answer is probably a resounding yes if you are battling Candidiasis.

A healthy body is able to keep the yeast Candida Albicans in check. However, factors such as poor diet, use of antibiotics, birth control pills and impaired immunity can lead to the yeast growing out of control.

One of the most effective ways of tackling yeast overgrowth is with a Candida cleanse.

There are many forms that a Candida cleanse can take but all should include the following steps:

1 Anti Candida Diet
Basically you eliminate:

  • refined and simple sugars
  • milk products, including cheese
  • foods with a high yeast or mold content
  • all fruits if Candida symptoms are severe
  • any known food allergens (take a test if you suspect you have food sensitivity)
and include:
  • raw or lightly cooked vegetables
  • legumes
  • nuts & seeds (but not cashews or peanuts)
  • low glycemic load fruits such as blueberries, plums, apricots (if Candida symptoms are not severe)
  • lean protein sources
  • lactose free milk
And don't worry, there are lots of other Candida cleansing foods to eat.

Where possible all foods should be organic. And sufficient water should be consumed to stay well hydrated.

2 Nutritional Support
Depending on individual's health needs, this might include a high potency multi-vitamin and mineral supplement, omega-3 supplementation, and digestive enzymes. Iron levels should be checked. Candida thrives on a lack of oxygen so it's important to make sure there is no iron deficiency.

3 Immune Function Support
This step might include supplements, ways to improve sleep, how to better manage stress, relaxation techniques and positive attitude.

4 Anti Fungal Supplements
Options include caprylic acid, aloe vera, garlic, olive leaf extract, oregano oil, goldenseal and grapefruit seed extract.

5 Detoxification Support
To help with the elimination of toxins a water soluble fiber supplement such as ground flax seeds may be helpful.

6 Probiotics
It is necessary to re-establish a healthy colony of beneficial bacteria. The most important ones are Lactobacillus Acidophilus and Bifidobacterium Bifidum.

7 Physical Activity
This boosts the level of oxygen in the body which helps fight the Candida spores.

Any Candida cleanse plan should be tailored to an individual's needs.

Now it's time to take action. Your health will thank you for it.
